Are you based in St. Louis?
I'm based in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and photograph weddings throughout Arkansas, Missouri, and beyond. St. Louis is a market I am especially drawn to and one I am happy to travel to, allowing you to work with a photographer whose work and approach genuinely resonate with you regardless of where I call home.
Do you charge a travel fee for St. Louis weddings?
Travel is thoughtfully considered as part of every St. Louis wedding collection, and any applicable costs are communicated clearly from the beginning. Travel is included in your wedding collection investment. My goal is to keep the process simple and transparent, so you know exactly what to expect before booking.
Have you photographed at our wedding venue or in St. Louis before?
Yes. I have experience photographing weddings in St. Louis, including celebrations from Tower Grove Park to St. Louis Union Station. While familiarity with a location can be helpful, I never rely on it to create meaningful photographs. I approach every venue with fresh eyes, paying close attention to the light, architecture, surroundings, and the people at the heart of the celebration.
How do you help couples feel natural in front of the camera?
You don't need to know how to pose or perform for the camera. That's my job to guide you. I offer direction when it is helpful, leave room for movement, connection and the moments that happen naturally between you. The experience should feel easy and unforced, resulting in photographs that are polished without losing the emotion that makes them yours.
