Every detail of this spring celebration felt effortlessly beautiful. From the white tulips and soft pastel pinks to the intricate linens and timeless chinoiserie details. The thoughful combination of textures, florals and delicate color created a reception that felt both refined and romantic; a beautiful reflection of the couple and the day they had envisioned.
About the day
It was a beautiful spring day spent alongside one of my favorite photographer friends, Chelsea. I had the pleasure of second shooting this wedding for Chelsea Duff Photography, and it quickly became one of those celebrations that stays with you. The light, the details, the genuine moments throughout the day made this gallery an easy favorite.
One of my favorite moments of the night, though, had nothing to do with all the pretty details. The dance floor was full all night and the DJ was playing Justin Bieber throwbacks constantly. The bridesmaids ended up bringing out a life-size cardboard cutout of Justin himself. It was completely unexpected, hilarious, and exactly the kind of personality that makes a wedding day memorable.
